Supported by the Governance Manager, as the Volunteer Patient Safety Partner you’ll be required to represent as an as an advocate for patients at relevant committees, supporting in particular subjects such as; compliance monitoring and how safety issues can be better addressed in the future.
You’ll be required to provide appropriate challenges to ensure learning, development and positive change within our Portsmouth hospital and you’ll ensure related committees and groups prioritises our end users and patients.
You will be representing as an as an advocate for patients, you will need to be well informed and concise.
We envisage the appointed Volunteer Patient Safety Partner being very familiar with sitting on committees and championing health improvements.
You will be a person of sound judgement and openness with a professional ability to be objective. A strong and confident communicator both written and verbal, with an adaptable approach.
