Business Development Manager

As our Business Development Manager, you will be:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with GP practices, practice managers and key healthcare stakeholders.
• Driving referral growth and market share across NHS, self-pay and privately insured patient pathways.
• Undertaking regular field-based visits to customers and community groups.
• Identifying opportunities to promote services and increase awareness within the local healthcare economy.
• Supporting the delivery of local marketing campaigns, events and awareness initiatives.
• Working with the Central Marketing Team to develop local promotional activity and communications.
• Monitoring market intelligence and identifying emerging opportunities for service growth.
• Maintaining accurate activity records and providing regular performance updates.
• Contributing to service development ideas and sharing best practice across the wider business development team.

With your experience in developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, you will also have:

• Strong influencing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness and a results-focused approach.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• IT literacy and confidence using customer and performance data.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel across the designated territory.
• Sales or business development experience - desirable.
• Experience within the healthcare sector - desirable.
• Knowledge of the healthcare economy, commissioning landscape and referral pathways - desirable.
